Feedback & Questions

·        If you spot any issues or have suggestions for improvements, please leave a comment below or message Joseph on The FFGeek Slack (via DM or in the Transfer Planner channel).

·        Feedback throughout the season is always appreciated and helps improve future Planner releases.

What’s New for GW1

Player prices, fixtures and all supporting data have been updated for the 2026/27 season.

xMins have been rebuilt from scratch using the latest information, including summer transfers, injuries and pre-season matches.

The impact of players returning late from international duty is still being assessed and xMins may change before the deadline.

New signings, promoted players, returning loanees and academy graduates have all been incorporated into the Planner.

As always, xMins will continue to evolve during the opening weeks of the season as we learn more about each team’s preferred line-ups, player roles and rotation patterns.

Optimal Team This Week

The Wildcard Team tab shows the current optimal team based on projected points across the next eight gameweeks (no transfers assumed).

·        On the Squad Planner tab, you’ll see projected total points for this team (assuming no transfers are made). You can compare directly with your squad via the Team Rating Tool.

Note: Wildcard Team projections do not account for chip usage (e.g. Bench Boost).

Expected Minutes (xMins)

·        Each team has 990 minutes (11 × 90) to split across their squad.

·        Before each release, we review every team and assign minutes based on the latest evidence.

·        A separate document is attached explaining the logic behind our xMins, including general notes and team-by-team breakdowns.

·        If you disagree with a player’s xMins, you can manually adjust them in the Planner (see the Instruction manual for details).

Remember to put the correct money in the Bank for your team

Practical use

This explains the most basic way of using the Planner. Start by opening the spreadsheet and then press the download tab. You will get a prompt to enable editing. Do that. Make sure you have the right money in the bank. If there are future transfers showing left by accident clear them out by going to the blank at the bottom of the drop down

At that stage you can input your team and try different transfers to see what works best

I find the most effective way to use it is to enter my team and set the total points for the gameweek to 5 weeks.

Then try some transfers (maybe from the suggestions or other articles) and see how they effect the 3, 5 and 8 gameweek projections as well as the % of optimum team
