What’s new for the FPL Transfer Planner GW35?
Prices and all information are correct as of 28 April.
xMins updated with the latest info – remember these can always change quickly throughout the season.
Fixture update
- The remaining postponed fixture, Man City vs Crystal Palace, has be moved into GW36, creating a double gameweek for both teams.
Optimal Team This Week
- The Wildcard team tab shows the current best XI for projected points across the rest of the season (no transfers assumed).
- On Squad Planner tab, you’ll see projected total points for this team (again assuming no transfers). You can compare directly with your squad via the Team Rating Tool.
Note: Wildcard team projections do not account for chip usage (e.g. Bench Boost).
Expected Minutes (xMins)
- Each team has 990 minutes (11 × 90) to split across their squad.
- Before each release, we review every team and assign minutes based on the latest evidence.
- A separate document is attached explaining the logic behind our xMins – including general notes and team-by-team breakdowns.
- If you disagree with a player’s xMins, you can manually adjust them in the Planner (instructions in the manual).
Suggested transfers
There are suggested transfers for your team by the Planner
Remember to put the correct money in the Bank for your team
Practical use
This explains the most basic way of using the Planner. Start by opening the spreadsheet and then press the download tab. You will get a prompt to enable editing. Do that. Make sure you have the right money in the bank. If there are future transfers showing left by accident clear them out by going to the blank at the bottom of the drop down
At that stage you can input your team and try different transfers to see what works best
I find the most effective way to use it is to enter my team and set the total points for the gameweek to 5 weeks.
Then try some transfers (maybe from the suggestions or other articles) and see how they effect the 3, 5 and 8 gameweek projections as well as the % of optimum team
