A good week from my team however it seemed a lot of people had a better one as although overall my rank increased and saw a green arrow I saw a few red arrows in my mini-leagues! Salah repaid the faith with a great performance as did Fraser and Alonso with Mendy chipping in as usual. Richarlison and Success (!) came off my bench with the points which was great and further proof you don’t need an expensive bench.

Alexander Arnold is becoming a concern but I do have a good bench so may leave him for a couple of weeks. I really want Arnautovic this week at home to Burnley but am 0.1 shy of doing a straight swap with Mitrovic which is frustrating so I could either not do it or do a double switch with my two free transfers to release the extra 0.1. TAA to Balbuena has been going through my head for West Ham’s incredible run over the next ten or so gameweeks.

Martial is looking great but his next two fixtures aren’t that good so I may leave that for a couple of weeks to see if he continues to start and play well. Captaincy this week is a toughie between Aguero and Hazard with me erring toward Hazard if he is fit. I will post my final team on Twitter on Friday/Saturday.

An above average week and a small rank rise with Alonso, Mendy, Mane and Salah scoring heavily. I’m so glad I stuck with Mane as he now looks a great option again for the foreseeable future and I can imagine lots of managers took him out over the past month. I am pretty happy still with my team with only Sterling, Laporte and Arnautovic the real players I want in but with all my players doing well I have no-one to take out at the moment.

I have learnt over the years not to take out performing players for someone else as it generally bites you and costs you transfers. I will write a piece over the international break around future strategy but I feel I am in a very strong position currently and hope to go into the new year with 20-25 transfers and a similar rank which would be brilliant.

Another good week and rank increase, things are going well although I have used around 3 or 4 more transfers than I would have liked at this stage. Ryan is one of the main reasons for my consistent month with his clean sheets, save points and MOM performances and I am pleased I stuck with him. Luiz and Laporte again delivered and Salah captaincy was the icing on the cake. I am a little pigeon-holed formation wise which is a slight concern but I happy with my team overall.

I really want Arnautovic and he is only 7.1% selected so could be a great option over the next couple of months with their run. Unless an opportunity through injury presents itself though I am probably going to hold off as last year I took out big scoring and high owned players and it backfired dramatically and probably cost me a top 100 finish or higher as it cost me around 100 points in one week. My captains for the weekend will likely be Salah for Saturday, Aguero/Hazard for Sunday and I doubt I will have one for Monday’s blockbuster barring injury.

Looking at Hart just hurts. My Liverpool players repaid me and Luiz popped up with a welcome clean sheet but other than that it was grim albeit a 40k rank rise. We have a refresh of transfers on Friday and I am going to have to take out Kane to upgrade Hart and probably Shaw. I will confirm my transfers on Friday but will likely bring in Laporte and Ederson to shore up my shambolic defence.

I do have a Sun team placed around 1400th position at the moment so will put up a Twitter poll (there’s also one below) to see if the readers want me to continue reporting on this team or move to my other team which is flying and obviously in much better shape!

I will confirm all my transfers on Twitter (My Twitter handle is Fergi222, give me a follow!) by the respective deadlines so keep an eye out

Good luck everyone for GW11!
