So the wrong time to take out Salah! Although I would say my rank drop isn’t as big as expected which is some comfort alongside the fact I have the team I want for the next few weeks including the main captaincy options. Alonso getting a clean sheet on my bench was disappointing particularly the way Chelsea have been playing but I am very pleased to hold him going forward for their kind fixture run. Doherty and Robertson returned again with Stones and Balbuena not doing much. Andersen saved my gameweek with a tremendous display and looks great value going forward alongside Fraser and Richarlison. Although my big hitters didn’t fire this week it won’t be long until they do with Kane, Aubameyang and Sterling having good upcoming fixtures.

Transfers and captaincy

I will probably look to save this week as I have a good team to put out. The only player I really want is Alexander-Arnold but there is no rush with him playing United this week who seem to have turned a corner. Patricio is on the chopping block but has a decent home fixture this week so again can wait. Captaincy-wise it looks like Kane with Sterling vice.

A great week this week with most of my team returning including the low owned players such as Andersen. Doherty again made a mockery of his price tag, the Liverpool players smashed it and even Alonso kept an unexpected clean sheet against City. The City players didn’t score well but are ripe to return over the coming weeks and fixtures. I am tempted by Aubameyang but don’t want to be too top heavy so will probably just leave the one premium striker in Kane for the foreseeable. A very settled team which injury-aside will likely see me through the next couple of weeks at least.

A good gameweek, Salah aside, which caused a slight rank drop. My premium defence continues to perform well with the talisman midfielders again scoring well. My big guns let me down this week but are ripe for points in the upcoming fixtures.

Transfers and captaincy

Maddison and Richarlison fixtures turn after this week but they offer good value and I am tempted to leave them in unless obvious replacements emerge. No transfer plans with all players playing and good captaincy options for the next couple of weeks. Injuries may disrupt these plans as always.

Captains this weekend will likely be Kane and Hazard.

The Salah risk backfired immediately although I am much happier with the team going forwards. Double Arsenal attack is risky but they have some great fixtures and will be differentials over the Xmas period so I am hopeful of some good returns. Kane and Sane were my other transfer in and again have some great fixtures over the next few so I confident of bouncing back.

Transfers

All transfers are used for December, here’s hoping we can have a good month and get back to a decent position.

I made two transfers overall bringing in Kane and Aubameyang for Aguero and Salah and didn’t have a good week and suffered quite a big rank fall which is disappointing. The Liverpool defence continues to provide a great source of points with Richarlison and Hazard returning. Once City get their mojo back my team is set up well and should reap the benefits of this.
