Gameweek 31 clashes with the FA Cup 6th round. Teams playing in those 6th round games will have their fixtures postponed. At the moment only Burnley v Watford and Wolves v Bournemouth are guaranteed fixtures in GW31.
This midweek the FA Cup 5th round matches will take place which will bring the clarity were looking for. There are no replays so as games progress the fixtures in GW31 will be come more apparent. Unfortunately the games go on to Thursday although Sheffield United winning means that we no longer need to wait for the Man Utd result on Thursday as the Man Utd v Sheffield Utd GW31 fixture is already postponed due to Sheffield’s win.

The Blank GW31 schedule
Here’s the fixtures for GW31 in full and how they can be affected by the FA Cup 5th round fixtures. The 2 fixtures in green are guaranteed as all 4 sides have been knocked out of the FA Cup.
I will monitor them daily with the fixtures guaranteed in green and the fixtures definitely postponed in red. If the fantasy premier league site also alter the fixtures I’ll put a picture of that here as well.
Updated for Tuesdays nights results. Only 3 guaranteed fixtures although the Spurs v Norwich game means 1 more fixture is guaranteed
So how does GW31 look after everything is clear
Spurs v West Ham
Burnley v Watford
Wolves v Bournemouth
Liverpool v C Palace
So for my FPL team I have Alexander Arnold. Salah, Boly and Firmino plus Rico who has seemingly lost his place. 4 players plus 3 free transfers to GW31 = 7 players. Using the free hit chip seems inevitable is my first thought
The FA Cup 5th round results
I’ll put the results here as they happen
Portsmouth 0 Arsenal 2
Chelsea 2 Liverpool 0
Reading 1 Sheffield Utd 2
WBA 2 Newcastle 3
Leicester 1 Birmingham 0
Sheff Wed 0 Man City 1
Spurs 1 Norwich 1 (Norwich win on pens)
That’s it. Hope you find it useful
