Here’s my fantasy premier league team for game week 5.
I decided after a lot of debate to take a 4 point hit (using the excuse of sorting out the GK situation of De Gea as a reason) I’ve transferred out Cazorla and put Hazard in. I put Schwarzer in for DeGea to fund it.
Essentially Hazards shooting stats are far better than Cazorla who tends to shoot outside the box. Last week was also a bit of a turning point in that it saw Hazard play well against QPR but Cazorla only get 1 assist in the 6-1 win against Saints.
The pick of Schwarzer was down to fixtures and underlying defensive stats. I may only have 1 GK for some time so firstly I needed good fixtures. Fulham are top of the fixture ease schedule and the trend is ok. In addition the Fulham underlying defensive stats are very good. Much as I dont want to double up on defence I can still de risk the situation by not including Hughes in a defensive lineup.
