The schedule

The schedule ranks the teams by averaging their Goals against and their expected goals against. It is not adjusted for upcoming fixtures. From the free site understat

Player values and stats were as of Tuesday 26 April

Transfer suggestions

This is for games until the end of the season and not just for GW35. Ideally you want someone with a good entry point, good fixtures with a good defence

Leicester

A defence that if it plays Fofana and Evans has the potential to be much better. However the ECL related rotation means only £4.9m GK Schmeichel (PPM 3.6) is a viable option

Villa

Again a defence that could be alot better although 5 expected clean sheets in the last 10 gameweeks gives some hope. This is mainly about fixtures. £5.2m RB Cash (PPM 4.0) is the only option for me

Man City

With the fixtures ahead you could easily justify a triple up. Rotation is the only risk.

£7.1m LB Cancelo (PPM 5.8m) is the attacking potential. £6.0m CB Laporte (PPM 4.9) and £6.1m CB Dias (PPM 4.6) are the first choice CBs

Liverpool

2 outstanding attacking FBs in £8.4m RB Alexander-Arnold (PPM 7.0) and £7.3m LB Robertson (PPM 6.5). The value player if rotatable is £5.1m RB Matip (PPM 5.0)

Chelsea

With Rudiger and Reece James back in training they become options again although Reece James is still a potential RCB according to Tuchel.

That almost puts £5.6m LWB Alonso (PPM 4.4) as the box seat choice although if fit both £6.1m LCB Rudiger (PPM 4.7) £6.4m RWB/RCB James (PPM 5.5) are options for gametime and attacking potential respectively. The game v Man Utd on Thursday will be interesting for the lineup

The Fixture Ease Schedule

Here’s the fixture ranking to the end of the season as ranked by the ease of the attacking teams they face

GK goals saved over expected goals saved per 90 from Fbref

In essence this shows the form shot stoppers so far this season. It compares the per 90 goals saved vs expected goals saved so is a variation on the save% table I normally give. I think you’ll find it quite interesting.
