Sky Sports Fantasy Football transfer made and captain change

Another transfer made in Sky Sports Fantasy Football and my SSFFGW5 captain changeI’ve changed Dzeko out for Sturridge in and made him captain.  It will work well for captain choices in the future the way the fixtures are going.

  1. Liking the tactical transfer here John, really tempted to go for it myself now Giroud has picked up a knock. Like you I think Sturridge is good for future planning with them at home to Southampton next weekend and then a capt switch to RVP for the Manchester Derby or even Soldado for the Cardiff game!? Great minds .. that said that would put me down to 28 transfers which seems crazy at GW5! That said we only had 30 transfers last season in the Sky Format so it is relataive, or at least that’s how I’d justify it!

    • yeah similar thoughts. improved the ranking that’s for sure! Not having Giroud is bugging me though for the next game. Havent ruled out more transfers. Arsenal coverage through giroud and Spurs through eriksen is an alternative but nothing fixed yet

      cheers

  2. Well, at two minutes to 8pm I put Sturridge in and gave him the armband! 5 minutes later he’d scored! Glad I went with your calculated change! That said, I’m going to have to was up on my tranfers now as it’s getting silly! :)

    • Last year I had a very successful year running a 3-5-2, I think you have to keep the formation flexible to accommodate injuries and transfers, and with the new double capt rule flexibility is even more important.

    • Hi kieran, yeah the strikers seem to be ruling the day and the midfileders dropping off and I was a bit wary of overdoing the pass and tackle bonus players so i switched

      cheers

  3. mate, Id like your opinion, who is the best striker under 7.5million pound?
Im still holding on with lambert, but soton has been dissapointing so far. and thinking fletcher will be bounce back for sunderland. what do you guys think?

    • Tbh 7.5 mil in the Sky Format doesnt give you many decent options RVW at Norwich has got to be one of your best bets, personally I’d try and free up a little more cash and use it to boost your striker budget.

  4. I HAD MOSES THIS WEEK OMG! what a punt!
    my team for next week
    Miggs
    Zabaleta Kosc Wisdom Walker (Chester)
    Afra Moses Walcott (JWP, Brady)
    Giroud RVP Beteke

I want Eriksen because i know hell rip it up now but don’t know how to go about it, 1 FT btw cheers
