Ramsey – SELL

This may seem a harsh commentary on the top points scorer to date but its hard to see how Ramsey will regularly fit in and certainly how he will score so many goals as he’s started with.

Arsenal in my mind will line up in 4-2-3-1.  The 3 attacking midfielders will be Cazorla, Ozil and Walcott with the  2 screening midfielders being 2 of Flamini, Arteta Wilshere and Ramsey.  Arteta is back in a couple of weeks and Flamini made a noticeable difference against Spurs so its hard to see Ramsey’s gametime being consistent.  To me its too much of a risk with a difficult Champions League group as well

Sturridge – HOLD (injury doubt)

Currently an injury doubt so needs monitoring to potentially turn it into a sell.  Good fixtures and a central role will be complicated by the return of Suarez although early stories suggest that Suarez will play on the flank.

Giroud – BUY

The only pure striking option at the club.    Virtually guaranteed to start for  fixtures as home to Stoke and Norwich and away to Palace in the Premier League.  Will get loads of chances with Ozil, Cazorla and Walcott behind him.   A definite BUY

Barkley – HOLD

With 8 games to go before another transfer window Barkely is a gamble but one with a big upside if it goes well. An early  favourite of Sun Dream Team.  Playing behind the striker and leading the creativity for Everton. Main issue is gametime risk as while Fellaini is gone, Barry and McCarthy have been bought and Gibson is about to return to the team. I think Barkley will hold his place as it is and there will be just 2 CDMs with Osman dropping out.  It is a gamble still though not for the faint hearted.  Martinez continues to talk him up though.

Soldado – BUY

Spurs are a difficult one but it is imperative that you have them covered in defence and somewhere on attack.  The first choice central striker in a team that now has a real creative force in new signing Christian Eriksen.  Soldado also has pen duties and should score a number of goals.  The problem will be the rotation of Defoe in the Europa League.  Last year AVB didn’t rotate much for the Europa League but it seems likely to me that with the pressure for a top 4 place and a big squad then rotation will be far greater.  A definite gametime risk but good value makes him the best buy in my mind.

Robbie Brady – HOLD

I wouldn’t be buying him but I wouldn’t be selling him either.  Sun Dream Team seem to love him that’s for sure.  Has the advantage of pens and set piece involvement which is where the points will come from.

Kieron Gibbs – BUY

A tricky one as the Arsenal defence with good premier league fixtures coming up are worth covering. All the Arsenal defenders have cover but Gibbs seems to be liked by the Sun Dream raters and is the cheapest first choice with Sagna.

Hugo Lloris – BUY

A good bet to play most of the games given the only rotation option is Brad Friedel.  A solid defence with good fixtures to come.

Szczesny – HOLD

Personally I think there will be some rotation and there’s a risk he could lose his place but I’m not sure it warrants a sale unless you’ve got a very strong team elsewhere.

Michu – HOLD

Personally I would go with Bony as  I believe after the slow introduction he will be the most forward striker in the team and his record in Holland is fantastic.  However if you have Michu then I would stick with him as selling someone from Swansea is madness in this transfer window with the additional easy games up for grabs

That’s it hope that helps you with your choices in Sun Dream Team transfer window 1
