Firstly here were my transfers:
Pelle striker Southampton out – De Bruyne midfielder Man City in and change to 4-4-2
Soares defender Southampton out – Clyne defender Liverpool in
Ivanovic Chelsea defender out – Kolarov defender Man City in
£1 million left in the bank
To be honest I could have got rid of everyone except Aguero, Darmian and Bellerin. However given that I only have 3 transfers that wasn’t possible.
The had to goes were Pelle and Soares and the had top come ins were Kolarov and De Bruyne. Originally it would have been Silva but with an injury against Palace and words like “I hope he will be ok for Juventus” spooked me too much so I went for De Bruyne as the alternative.
The last transfer was a bit trickier. Ivanovic had to go. Not only would have Chelseas return to defensive form been a huge leap of faith considering the price of Ivanovic there was also the risk that his form has been so woeful he could actually lose his place. So I had a choice effectively between Clyne of Liverpool and Otamendi of Man City. Bringing in the 2nd Man City new player seemed a step to far so in went for the safety of security of spreading risk and bought in Clyne of Liverpool.
I did seriously think of dumping Hazard or Ozil as a way of making cash but that would have meant leaving Ivanovic in which was never going to happen.
