Here we look at some Sun Dream Team player tips by analysing players with the best points per gameweek stats and then looking at their future prospects. We then look to pick out players in each position as the best transfer prospects

Top players by points per game
Contrary to what it appears to say it is per game not per gameweek which could involve 2 games
Strikers
Ignore Crouch and Perez neither who have great gametime prospects. If you’re swimming in transfers you may want to consider Perez as a one off in either of the UCL or EFL games which are good fixtures but thats a big use of 2 transfers in and out. To me Sanchez, Walcott and Austin have the fixtures and additional games to be good bets as transfers. Son has the recent form. Aguero though is the class act and if like me you transferred him out on suspension and injury that may be the only focus you can have to transfer him back
Midfielders
Firstly you can see that the strikers are returning better than the midfielders. I would probably discount the last 3. Milner is playing LB and is only getting points through penalties which surely can’t continue. Capoue has been converting chances at an unsustainable rate and I can’t believe a Burnley midfielder will end up amongst the best.
All the players above that are real prospects and worth investing in
Defenders
The defender returns considering the lack of clean sheets has been pretty good. The top 3 of Gabriel, Yoshida and Wimmer have no gametime certainty. Neither does Trippier. Martina is probably only a short term prospect until Soares is back from injury on the 16th October. Bertrand is now injured with no return date but his likely replacement Targett isn’t great value although he probably will play most games until the return. Rose is a good Spurs prospect but will definitely be rotated in the domestic cups. Mustafi for me is the best prospect of the lot above although as for all the teams in European competition he will be rotated.
Goalkeepers
For my money GKs just aren’t worth spending a load of money on. They just don’t return adequately and aren’t safe from rotation anymore. Barvo is surprisingly high but the penalty save would have definitely helped against Spurs.
The first 3 have no gametime security and neither does Vorm.
