The transfers were easy. Aguero out of both teams with a 2 match suspension plus he’s injured with no return date. So it made sense with a shortened September to use the 3 transfers.
The transfer in was Sanchez. I wanted someone with European games during the week. Kane or Giroud were the 2 choices but Giroud still has some gametime issues not having started in the premier league to date and Kane some form issues. Sanchez is a questionable starter and minutes risk after the late arrival back from the international break but it feels better than Kane or Giroud.
I did think of taking Masuaku for Davies who will cover the Rose injury but Watford is a good fixture coming up. Fonte stays in team 1 with the Europa League coming up. I hopefully will do an article on Monday for the up coming gameweek.
