GW10 – 63pts : Total – 673pts : Overall Rank- 7.8k :

GW10

Fair to middling kind of week with 63pts taking me upwards by another 800 places so happy there .
Despite saying I wouldn’t I actually did use my final transfer last Saturday by bringing in John Stones for the benched again Otamendi.

GW11

This Gwk heralds a new month and another set of transfers to go at although I have no plans to make any this game week , the only slight concerns are Can Dijk and Salah with their niggling injuries but I expect both to start at Villa .

Thanks for reading folks have a successful GW11 and see ya next week.

Lee Giles

Lee finished an incredible 79th overall in Sun Dream Team in his first attempt last season

GW10 points 51 total points 656, overall rank 19k

There was a last minute change of plan with my final transfer of October, my Kane to Aguero didn’t go to plan when Aguero was named on the bench so instead I decided to bring in Hudson-Odoi for Dan James this didn’t work out well as Hudson-Odoi got -1 this week.

51 points this week has seen me drop to 19k from last weeks 8k position.  Theres 3 transfers available now for November I don’t have any plans immediately so will stay patient and see how things are next week.

Game Week 10

Hello once again my fellow fantasy football managers. This week even though it was Halloween, my team didn’t have much of a scary time and finished with 56 points. The player scores are in the picture below.

Sun Dream Team tips GW11

So everyone in the team contributed points to the scoreboard even though Tomori scored negatively but can let him off for that as he scored heavily last week. This week’s league cup games saw Otamendi and Mahrez start as the former scored a goal. It does look like they are both Pep Guardiola’s first team plans but you never know for sure with the Man City manager. The other league cup games were a horror story as the likes of Ederson, Tomori, Sterling, Salah, Mane were rested and the Chelsea duo of Mount and Abraham made brief appearances from the bench.

Team Status

The team has a total of 645 points and an overall position of 33k. So a fall of 6k places = a small red arrow. We now have entered a new month with three brand new transfers to use (or waste). the team has a value of 52.9m with 0.7m in the bank.

Transfers

So I am likely to replace Otamendi and Mahrez this month. I will be looking at the line ups on Saturday when City play Southampton and see whether they are present. If Otamendi is not starting then I am looking at Andy Robertson as a replacement as Liverpool’s fixtures are good on paper after the November international break. I also want to double up on my Liverpool defensive assets. Van Dijk is currently out of my price range. If Mahrez does not start, I may leave him in my side and hope that he makes a telling contribution from the bench or hope that he delivers points in the midweek champions league game. I am still unsure on which player to replace him with so will leave it for another week.

October Form Guide

Finally, as a halloween treat to all fantasy football geek readers, I have jotted down the 10 ten players for each position (only including top 5 goalkeepers) that were the highest point scorers for game weeks 8-10. Hopefully the stats can provide assistance for people making decisions now we have new transfers to play with.

Tom Grogan

Tom finished an incredible 34th in Sun Dream Team last season

GW10 pts: 46 total points 656 overall rank 65k

46 points for the week. Tough gig at the moment playing with 9 men. The defence needs to be ripped up and I will decide what to do on that front on Saturday morning. The rotation of Pep and Mahrez is also hurting me a lot. But with Man City’s schedule having a tougher look to it over the next month or so I am confident Aguero will get consistent minutes. Also Aubameyang firing blanks doesn’t help no body….

Bryan O’Rourke

This is Bryan’s first season at Sun Dream team but he has a fantastic history in TFF finishing 37th last season and 7th in 17/18

GW9 points 69, Overall rank 60k

Not a bad week at all, thanks all to Mr Vardy and his hat-trick on Friday.

A smattering of points throughout the team contributed to an overall score of 69 and a boost in the rankings to 60981 place.

Novembers transfers are credited on Friday and I’m going to get stuck in early with Alexander- Arnold in for Digne. Just based on the hunch that Liverpool should tighten up at the back with Allison in goals and some tougher fixtures ahead for Everton. Other than that the team looks OK, everyone healthy and probable starters. Here’s to a good weekend. Best of luck
