GW6 Proved to be another decent week scoring 80pts for the second week running.

Made a very late transfer just prior to kick off last Saturday upon seeing the City line up , with no Zinchenko in the squad I decided to act immediately and replace him with Bernard Mendy, hopefully the latter can have an injury free run and wrack up some decent points.

So now up to 64k overall that’s a nice leap from 275k little over 2 weeks ago so at least heading in the right direction.

On to  GW7 and I’ve decided to use my 3rd and final September transfer.

Coleman > Abraham.

Meaning my formation is now 3-4-3

Pretty much a no brainer of a decision with Everton leaking goals and up against free scoring city next whist Chelsea have a nice run of fixtures coming up starting with Brighton home on Saturday, add Chelsea’s additional European games into the mix , this looks like a beneficial move , adding £0.7m to my October transfer coffers in the process.

So yes very pleased how my team is looking and progressing now , good luck everyone for gw7 , back next week.

Lee Giles

Lee finished an incredible 79th overall in Sun Dream Team in his first attempt last season

Overall rank – 24k. GW points 82 total points 375

I made a last minute decision to use my last 2 transfers: I took out Robertson and Mount for Mahrez and Jesus. I wasn’t desperate to remove them but really wanted to take advantage of Man City’s fixtures especially with the European and league cup fixtures. I am a bit Man City heavy with 7 players but it was a good week with a 8.0 and 3.0 win this week, with Otamendi (13), Sterling (15), De Bruyne (12), Mahrez (12), Jesus (8) and Aguero (10) bringing the bulk of the points.

Game Week 6

Hello once again my fellow fantasy football managers. This week my team did good with 92 points. The player scores are in the picture below.

Sun Dream Team tips GW7

Star player of the week

Bernardo Silva. Last week, Tammy Abraham scored a hat trick for my team. Now Bernardo Silva has followed suit with a hat trick of his own against Watford to give him 27 points.

Midfield

B. Silva hat trick was supplemented with a goal, assist and star man from team mate Sterling in the league cup win. Harry Wilson scored in Bournemouth’s win over Southampton but was booked and no rating points. Nevertheless, he has done a decent job so far.

Strikers

Kane gained 8 points but now few doubts are starting to creep in as Spurs endure a poor run of form. Salah only scored 2 points with a back heel assist. Tammy Abraham missed a big chance to score when one on one with the Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian who saved well. Sadly, it was not Abraham’s day.

Defence

The Man City defensive assets did really well with clean sheet points for Ederson, Walker and Otamendi. The latter gained another 5 points to his tally by meeting Aguero’s low cross to score. Only Zinchenko left the team down by having a week off. A few question marks hang around him as Mendy has come back into the fold. Liverpool’s only defensive representative scored a well taken goal to claim 7 points as he was also booked for time wasting. All in all, happy with the defence.

Team status

The team has a total of 374 points and an overall position of 26k. So a rise of 95k places = another green arrow. That’s two a row now. Let’s keep the momentum going. I have one transfer left and a team value of 51.2m with 0.6m in the bank. No transfers planned for game week 7 although I am monitoring the situation on Zinchenko.

Good luck to me and everyone for game week 7. See you next week.

Tom Grogan

Tom finished an incredible 34th in Sun Dream Team last season

GW6 pts: 47 Total pts: 409 Overall Rank: 1400

So, here I am first day on the job! I will jump straight to it with some brief background on me. Last year I came 34th overall in Sun Dream Team and i was placed 215th in this years running. That was until this shocker of a week. I have fallen all the way down to 1400th overall.

Classic that the week i begin writing is the week that i have my worst week since the start of the season. I put up only 47 points which is really disappointing considering the fact that we also had the bonus of the league cup games making it a 2 game GW.

The major problem is coming with Peps rotation. Resting Sterling and dropping Zinchenko against the 8-0 demolition of Watford really cost me. Sterling would of feasted on the lacklustre defending and dismal resistance from the Watford backline. Its hard to imagine that he would of not equaled Bernando Silva’s Hat Trick Heroics. Plus missing out on 8 easy Zinchenko clean sheet points was a real stinger. Pair that we the return of Mendy to the Manchester City line up and I have some thinking to do about Zinchenko’s place in my team moving forward.

But moving forward there is some favourable fixtures for my players going into game week 7 which is again another double game week with European football back in action.

Look forward to updating you all next week and fingers crossed for a high scoring week.

Bryan O’Rourke

This is Bryan’s first season at Sun Dream team but he has a fantastic history in TFF finishing 37th last season and 7th in 17/18

GW5 points 45, total points 272, Overall rank 139,771k

This team is languishing in 83899 position overall. I still like the look of it but Pulisic is out for Mount. I think Pulisic will come good eventually, but seems to be out of favour at the moment. One transfer left for any injury or suspension, to be used before the deadline on 4 October. Best of luck.
