Well the supposed hamstring injury to Rooney has made me make a couple of last minute changes to my Sun Dream Team

There’s a story that Rooney has got an injury in training which has meant he is a doubt for the Liverpool game although there is talk of a late fitness test today. I hate hamstring injuries they have a habit of really dragging on. I do want to keep Rooney as he is the focal point of the United attack without much competition for his place. However I hate starting with an injury so I’ve changed the team
Here’s the transfers then. Remember though it’s from a reset position though not a change to my “changed” team as it were:
Rooney Man Utd striker out – De Bruyne Man City midfield in. Change to 4-4-2
Pelle Southampton striker out – Benteke Liverpool striker in
Soares Southampton striker out – Kolarov Man City defender in

So in effect I’ve changed Rooney for Benteke the result of which is Ivanovic is stays in the team which I really didn’t want. I’ve traded Rooney injury uncertainty for Benteke uncertainty in Europa League selection and uncertainty with Sturridge’s return. So it’s definitely a gamble making the change. I also only use my emergency transfer for injuries and wont use it to bring Rooney back (famouis last words!) so the decision is final. There is still one potential final twist. We will see the Chelsea lineup before the window closes. That means if Ivanovic is dropped I will revert to my previous team so watch this space
