The Sun Dream Team competition is one of the few that covers all the competitions including both European competitions and the Fa and Capital One cups. Therefore picking players in Sun Dream Team that play in teams that play more games is a crucial especially with the man of the match and ratings system mean games literally mean points. From the last transfer window the importance of these competitions has dwindled with the Capital One Cup completed, the FA Cup nearly at the semis, no premier league team in the Champions league and the Europa League at the quarters. The good news though is that as we get to the sharp end of the competitions rotation will drop as those clubs will be desperate to win. The reduction in additional fixtures from the cup competitions means that picking teams with good fixtures is crucial in the run in after the 4th transfer window closes. Below I’ve looked at all the fixtures between now and the end of the season and ranked the teams by the ease/number of fixtures they play. The team at the top has the easiest/most fixtures and the team at the bottom has the less/most difficult fixtures. Remember there is a trade off between number of fixtures and ease so the teams with the most aren’t necessarily at the top. Its not the only basis for checking players but it should give you some food for thought if you’re making a decision on who to transfer in.
