Here’s a very brief best player picks for Telegraph Fantasy Football
Telegraph fantasy football – best players GW12
GK
Howard £3.5m
Howard is the top scoring GK and Everton should compete in the FA Cup. That with an exit from the Capital one and no European competition should mean no rotation.
Lloris £3.4m
Reasonably good value in comparison to the other defensive options for Spurs. Spurs will look to win the FA Cup given the squad they have and may choose to keep Lloris in.
DEF
Rose£3.2m (inj return 23/11)
Constantly told he’s going to be back but never returns. If he ever gets fit he’s excellent value for the top rated defence.
Koscielny £3.7m
Also good value for a strong defence. Less chance of FA Cup rotation as a CB.
Coleman £3.5m
Good attacking potential in the 3rd best overall defence by my ranking. Should hold his place for the FA Cup where Everton will look to compete in.
Nastasic
Between him and Demichelis for the CB partner of Kompany if he returns.
Fonte £2.8m
Cheaper option than Lovren and seems to have held his place. I expect Southampton to compete in the FA Cup though
McAuley £3.1m
6th rated defence with good fixtures in the next 6. also has good attacking potential. WBA will be looking to win the FA Cup
Rat £2.8m
good value in a strong defensive team with good fixtures coming up. everyone in the West Ham defence is susceptible to rotation although if they aren’t in any relegation trouble the may comepete
MID
Walcott £5.1m
Probably wants some monitoring to see when starting rather than from the bench. Otherwise great attacking midfielder. Will probably be rotated for the FA Cup
Ozil £5.3m
The key contribution role widens the definition of assist which should help Ozil
Ramsey £3.6m
You cant ignore this sort of form
Oscar £4.3m
Great value for the number 10. Rotation is always the issue though
Mirallas £4.2m
Apart from Lukaku probably the best Everton attacking coverage for a team that will try and win the FA Cup. Could be rotated but seems unlikely.
Coutinho £4.2m
Started poorly but the value to makes it worth some patience. Liverpool without the Capital One and Europe will try and win the FA Cup
Cabaye £3.8m
Newcastle will look to win the FA Cup. Cabaye will get assists through set pieces and is a key part of the team
Lallana £3.6m
In form midfielder who can score and assist. In great form
Sessegnon
Plays behind the striker and getting some consistency as WBA go on a good run of fixtures. They will definitely look to win the FA Cup
Budget mids
R Morrison £2.4m
JWP £2.4m
Brady £2.7m
Barkley £2.5m
Januzaj £2.6m
Townsend £2.7m
STRIKERS
Giroud £5.7m
Good fixtures no rotation risk. A couple of games without scoring shouldn’t detract from his consistency and strong overall game
Suarez £7.5m
A must have at the moment. In great form although has been helped by fixtures. no capital one or Europe will mean the FA Cup taken seriously. especially with his early season “rest”
Aguero £6.8m
Will be prone to rotation but in such good form that cant be ignored. Wont play the FA Cup
Remy £5.5m
In excellent form at the moment. Newcastle should be looking to win the FA Cup as well
RVP £8.0m
Very expensive. Just coming into form. Will be rotated from the FA Cup though with inury problems
Rooney £6.6m
Much better value than RVP and will benefit from the Key contribution rule
Benteke £6.0m
4 away fixtures out of the next 6 is probably a good thing although injuries have robbed them of some of counter attacking ability. Has pens. depending on position may seek to win the FA Cu.
Lukaku £5.4m
Excellent striker has had a couple of quiet games but too much quality tobe scoreless for long. Mixed fixtures.
Thats it . Hope it helps but sorry about the brevity
