Heres my 2nd draft telegraph fantasy football team now where near as many changes as FPL
de Gea, D
£3.9m
I know I know after going on about Hart I pick De Gea. The reason being that Zabaleta gives me a heap route in to the city defence and so as I dont want to double up I got my United defence exposure through De Gea as a trade off. Utd ad City are the no 1 and no 2 defence in all stats and 19 and 17 Clean sheets respectively.
Ivanovic, B
£4.2m
I have ummed and arhhed over whether I should have put in a Spurs player and I may still change this but I do think Chelsea will improve the defence significantly with RDM having a full season.
Zabaleta, P
£3.4m
Maybe a short term option when Richards comes back and I may regret it but in the short term a great route in to the defence. If they go 3-5-2 he will play.
Jagielka, P
£3.7m
4th best defence and great fixtures secure position
van der Vaart, R
£4.4m
quality if he can stay fit
Dempsey, C
£4.3m
At this price hes just irresistible in telegraph fantasy football even without the greatest fixtures
Michu
£3.3m
been excellent in pre-season and great la liga record. Best opening 6 fixtures with a positive fixture ease trend.
Cazorla, S
£3.2m
This telegraph fantasy football price is ridiculous, even with the rubbish fixtures and no RVP on the end of chances created this price is ridiculous.
Rooney, W
£6.8m
gambling on hm keeping pens and not being shunted in to midfield to accommodate RVP
Aguero, S
£6.7m
total quality with his first summer rest and pre-season for 3 years
Jelavic, N
£5.8m
Everton have great fixtures and a great fixture ease trend. Jelavic scored 9 goals in 13 games last year and Im bankng on him to keep going where he left off. I don’t buy the slow start theory continuing, there’s just too much attacking quality in the team
good thing about this site is you can change it right up to the KO on Saturday may make it difficult to put my final team on the site but I will try. good luck everyone
