Bryan O’Rourke

Bryan finished 37th in TFF last season and 7th in 17/18

Week points: 17 Overall rank: 91k

This team plunged the depths with an all time weekly low of 17 points and a new ranking of 91032. The less said the better.

Salah and Cantwell are slight doubts for the weekend, but from what I’ve read one or both should be fit to play. So no transfers this week, just a look to the heavens for a change in fortune. Best of luck.

Sergio Torija

Sergio finished with an overall rank in the 300’s last season

 Gw8 points 40

Last week was bad, a poor score of 40 and 3 transfers used. I went all in to the light blue and transfer TAA, Salah and KDB for Otamendi, Mahrez and Aguero. There is still a few great fixtures for City so hopefully it will eventually pay off. A couple unexpected clean sheets from Ryan and Lowton and a goal from Abraham was all my players managed.

30 transfers at this stage is not great, so I need to keep my fingers steady for a while.

Having said that, Kane to Aubameyang is tempting, so I might do that one.

Good luck for GW9 geekers :)

Stephen Troop

Stephen finished with an OR in the 900’s last season

GW8 Score – 22, overall score 363, overall rank 27.8k

The less said about the last gameweek the better. I don’t think I’ve ever had a score as low as 22 and the good progress I made over the last 2 weeks has well and truly been undone. The Wolves result at the Ethiad was certainly not one I was expecting so having 4 city players certainly didn’t help.

I was also surprised Arsenal could only muster a single goal against a leaky Bournemouth defence (and Aubameyang wasn’t involved). Mount was my only player with returns outside of showing up. Chelsea are proving to be a good attacking force this season with great fixtures and I’d happily have Abraham in as well but there’s no obvious way of doing this.

Despite the bad week I’m actually happy with how my team looks. My only transfer plans in the near future will be getting Salah or Mane. This will likely be next week or in 3 weeks’ time as Liverpool play Man City last that weekend and then embark on a great run of fixtures. Lets hope this week brings better fortunes.
