A few bits re the new site
Signing in stuff
There’s a bit of faff to start with. You have to verify your email and choose a new password. There’s also a 2 factor authentication option.
If you get stuck on updating your details download the app and do it. I had that problem. When you get to the site, you’ll find your ID in the gameweek history section after you autocomplete your team and answer a few basics. Then it’s unlimited transfers until the GW1 deadline on August 5 UK time.
I’ve updated the FFGeek league but all the others will have to wait for a while. I’ll send out invites
New rules
Unlimited free transfers can also be made between Sat 12 Nov 13:30 and Mon 26 Dec 13:30 when the Premier League season has been adjusted to accommodate the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
There’s still 2 wildcards 1 before the above and 1 after
There’s only 1 Free Hit this season which can be used at any time
There’s a 20 transfer per gameweek rule except for WCs and FHs and the “WC” above. Presumably it’s in case you’re hacked to minimise the damage.
That’s it on a quick glance.
The first draft team
The same as yesterday except that the £4.5m mids are different and I’ve got £0.5m in the bank.
At the moment the 3 bench players are placeholders and will be scouted in preseason. The 2 mids though were regulars last season so I’m hopeful. No chance for Greenwood but I’ll live with 2 playing subs if I have to.
