Round 32 Review – 124 points and 57k OR
Here’s the points

Here’s the link to the previous RD 32 FFGeek team article
It’s a little churlish to complain when you’ve increased your rank from 90k to 57k and you have 5 players with double figure points scores plus 2 with 9 points and a total of 124 points for the round but complaints are all that can come out of my mouth. That’s mainly because of how the round ended.
I could only sub in 1 Argentinian defender as otherwise I would have been in an invalid formation. I chose Medina over Lisandro Martinez and of course Lisandro outscored him 11 points to 4.
Also in the context of the other Contributors
Rob, 140, Avishek 137, Stephen 132, Pete 129, Yaniv and Costas 124. Only Clay was less on 122.
Anyway…..
Round of 16 preview
We have 4 free transfers here
Here’s some odds first

Messi calculated by Gemini. Anytime GS only is £1.70
So given that France and Argentina seem the natural targets. Morocco look good this round but not so much after. Brazil and Spain behind France and Argentina
My main target was Olise in order to get to the maximum quota of 4 French players. Plus I wanted another Argentinian defender as there’s not much other attacking options in midfield
With Germany’s Nmecha out of the tournament then Olise was the natural replacement. Unfortunately the price difference was significant which helped shape the rest of the transfers
Medina is a starting risk after going off with cramp and a ready replacement in Tagliafico but I just couldn’t make it work getting rid of him so I’ve crossed my fingers
I’ve used the Clean Sheet Shield as with potentially triple Argentinian defence it may come in handy
Here’s how it looks in immediate clean sheet and to score or assist odds changes for RD16

I looked far and wide for alternatives to Baena but he was the best odds plus superior in terms of progression
For score or assist odds McKennie was £2.87, Nusa was £2.90, Tillman £3.00, Tielmans £3.20
The down side is if 2 of France, Argentina and Spain go out then I’m really in trouble having used my Wildcard
Summary
Transfers:
Nmecha, Cucurella, Kane and Pulisic OUT Olise, Molina, Oyarzabal and Baena IN
Clean Sheet Shield Activated
