Quarter Final Review
80 points Total points 543 and 132k OR
Here’s the points
On the face of it this seems to be a good week with 6 returning players out of 11 including 3 double figure returns including captain points of 26 from Mbappe.
However it barely moved the dial taking my overall rank from 136k to 132k. That’s mainly thanks to the loads of Clean Sheet shields played by other managers which picked up clean sheets from Spain, England and Argentinian defenders. This meant my ostensibly good round was nothing but rank neutral. My Round of 16 use of this Booster picked up zero points and was the 2nd Booster with the 12th man which picked up zero points.
The Boosters plus my Round 1 score have put me in my current disappointing position

Here’s 3 sets off odds. To win the tournament, to win the semi final fixture and various players to score of assist odds
Here’s looking at the to score or assist odds in order
I have 8 of the top 9 going in to the semis
The transfers
My plan at the moment is to downgrade Olise to add to it 2 English defenders
So the transfers would be
Molina to Konsa/Digne
Medina to O’Reilly
Olise to Whichever Doue or Barcola starts the match
That would leave me with 2 unused transfers and a small amount in the bank. Only in the Konsa and Doue scenario I could also upgrade Rangel to Pickford if I choose to
I gather Konsa is a minor injury risk which needs to be monitored
I do have an alternative option of getting Kane in but I’m not sure that’s too big a sacrifice
The idea of above is that this would reduce my dependency on Argentinian defenders without 2 big a sacrifice in attack. England have the best clean sheet odds.

The only Booster I have is the Max Captain. I will use that in the semi or the final. I’ve yet to decide
