fantasy premier league 2nd wildcard – the FFGeek crib sheet
Firstly here’s a link to my latest FFGeek DGW team article which you hopefully will find useful alongside this article
I’ve been using the crib sheet below to help me select my wildcard team so I thought I’d share it as you may find it useful.
The spreadsheet lists all the 10 teams with DGWs and reminds you whether its GW36/37 or just DGW37. It also displays the DGW fixtures.
The players are then categorised by core, secondary or punt players.
Cores are players that are ok for selection based on form and reasonably secure gametime.
Secondary players will come with some risk and they are marked accordingly. RT means due to form or fixtures I think there will be a performance risk and their returns could be poor. GT means gametime risk. That could either be due to rotation, their place in the pecking order, injury risk or they are a substitution magnet. Punts are as for secondary players except more risky
2 players, Aguero and Bailly are core but have yet to be determined injuries. They are highlighted by an asterisk.
Inherent rotation risk
It’s worth noting that of the teams Southampton, Leicester, WBA, and Watford are safe from relegation but are unable to get into Europe. That could cause issues over player motivation and also give rise to additional rotation. In addition to that Sunderland are already relegated. Also as the last 3 weeks progress this may apply to more teams or European places and relegation are settled. That again will allow changes in normal team sheets. It’s that time of the season so expect the unexpected. I am making an assessment over categories as things stand. Happy to take any comments obviously
I will produce player ranking articles this week in which will give more detail
The schedule is in 2 parts with 5 teams each
The Crib sheet
Hopefully it’s not too hard to read. I’ve divided it up by position which was supposed to make it more user friendly.
