There’s also a link to the full range of stats in our Google spreadsheet

FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE BEST FORWARD TRANSFERS GW16 – “ONES TO WATCH”

Here’s the table of stats. As I said in earlier articles I was concerned that the table of stats had become a little cluttered and hard to read so I’ve replaced it with a simplified version. The headings are self explanatory. The fixt ease column shows the easiness ranking of the next 6 and 3 fixtures. Use this link to see the full fixture ease article. Also if you want to see the forwards the top 10 FPL managers I follow have in their team click here. Apologies that the prices are as of Monday so they need to be checked. You can also view the full table of stats for all 16 players with lots of additional columns of stats as a google spreadsheet with the link immediately below.  It’s important you read the key comments

Here’s the link to the google internet spreadsheet for the full stats tables with alot more info.

Here’s the shortened version:

KEY COMMENTS

COSTA

Costa has everything.  Also no European football so no need to rotate.  Only negative is 4 yellow cards. He needs to avoid another before the year end.  Also unlike others doesn’t have pens.

Sunderland (A)
Crystal Palace (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Stoke (H)
Spurs (A)
Leicester (A)

IBRAHIMOVIC

Great underlying shooting stats and long term good fixtures.  Just starting to turn those stats into goals.  Has pens

Crystal Palace (A)
West Brom (A)
Sunderland (H)
Middlesbrough (H)
West Ham (A)
Liverpool (H)

KANE

2 great fixtures coming up. Good underlying stats and has pens

Hull (H)
Burnley (H)
Southampton (A)
Watford (A)
Chelsea (H)
West Brom (H)

IHEANACHO

This is all about gametime.  Disappointing performance against Leicester and early sub contrasted with Nolitos bright display in his place.  Selection is everything.  If he starts he has great potential but the Leicester display and the alternatives didn’t help.  Thats even before we talk about Peps tinkering risk

Watford (H)
Arsenal (H)
Hull (A)
Liverpool (A)
Burnley (H)
Everton (A)

SLIMANI

Good consistent performances.  Hopefully UCL break will give consistent selection

Bournemouth (A)
Stoke (A)
Everton (H)
West Ham (H)
Middlesbrough (A)
Chelsea (H)

BENTEKE

The star in a pretty ordinary team built around his streangths.  The negative is the fixtures. Has pens.

Man Utd (H)
Chelsea (H)
Watford (A)
Arsenal (A)
Swansea (H)
West Ham (A)

ORIGI

Great value and has made a contribution since starting.  Sturridge has no return date so that seems safe.  A placeholder though until Coutinho back.  Still has slight risk if Klopp wants Firmino back in the role but no obvious signs of that yet

Middlesbrough (A)
Everton (A)
Stoke (H)
Man City (H)
Sunderland (A)
Man Utd (A)

LUKAKU

Finally broke his barren spell at Watford.  Fixtures could be better

Arsenal (H)
Liverpool (H)
Leicester (A)
Hull (A)
Southampton (H)
Man City (H)

LLORENTE

Again this is all about gametime.  Has been in and out of the team with Siggy playing a false 9.  Next 2 games away heightens that risk

West Brom (A)
Middlesbrough (A)
West Ham (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Arsenal (H)

NEGREDO

Fitness is the risk here.  Woeful form but now has good fixtures after Liverpool next

Liverpool (H)
Swansea (H)
Burnley (A)
Man Utd (A)
Leicester (H)
Watford (A)

VARDY

Finally came alive with a hat trick on the weekend after a barren spell.  Gametime is a risk though.  The mitigation is the break from UCL games and the success that the partnership with Slimani had against Man City

Bournemouth (A)
Stoke (A)
Everton (H)
West Ham (H)
Middlesbrough (A)
Chelsea (H)

DEFOE

Another star in an ordinary team.  Fixtures are against him with some tricky ones.  Has pens

Chelsea (H)
Watford (H)
Man Utd (A)
Burnley (A)
Liverpool (H)
Stoke (H)

ANICHEBE

This is all about price and his fund raising potential while still having a potential contribution.  Very much the worker bee to go with Defoe.  Never had a great goal scoring record and some tough fixtures.  Does have some gametime risk if him and Defoe become a risk on lack of defensive numbers

Chelsea (H)
Watford (H)
Man Utd (A)
Burnley (A)
Liverpool (H)
Stoke (H)

RONDON

Good fixture next but overall they aren’t great.  Not in a great run of form either.  Does have potential and some good underlying stats.  A secure starter though which is a bonus in these fixture congested and times

Swansea (H)
Man Utd (H)
Arsenal (A)
Southampton (A)
Hull (H)
Spurs (A)

WILSON

Been inconsistent but a reasonable fixture next given Leicesters problems on the road.  Has pens

Leicester (H)
Southampton (H)
Chelsea (A)
Swansea (A)
Arsenal (H)
Hull (A)

DEENEY

Can’t seem to score for love nor money.  His pen duties seem the only route in at the moment

Man City (A)
Sunderland (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Spurs (H)
Stoke (A)
Middlesbrough (H)
