So a bit of a different week this week. The bookies odds for the midweek games aren’t out. I’m going to rank each game including the mid weeks games to help you pick your defence. I’ve then ranked the clean sheet prospects of the double gameweek teams to help you rank these teams. I’ll put the bookies odds up for the weekends games only.

The fixtures

Firstly here are the fixtures.

fpl..gw37fixtures

We go through each team by the clean sheet rank I’ve given them. We calculated that in a very basic way. We’ve compared the rank of the teams defence vs the rank of the opponents attack. Thats why we’ve put the clean sheet odds for DGW37 of one bookie as another point of reference. We’ve also given you the rank of those odds for each of the teams. The clean sheet odds are the amount won for £1 invested. The odds are of when I wrote the article. Hope thats clear. In ranking the bookies, if the odds are the same for 2 or more teams, I’ve followed my ranking. As I’ve used stats over the season sometimes recent circumstances wont be factored in. Thats why it’s worth looking at the bookies odds and especially the outliers as another view

FFGEEK vs the Bookies

We look at last weeks clean sheets and compare how we ranked them as clean sheet possibilities vs how the bookies did.  The lower the predicted rank and running total the better obviously. 3 clean sheets this week.

Unfortunately the Darlow penalty save completed did me.  Although my predictions have improved markedly I have won the vast majority of the weekly battles.  This will be the last 1.

This is the last week that we will do the comparison but will start it next season
