Just remember that this is the first game of the season and there are 37 fantasy premier league rounds after this. during this time the following things will happen
1. players you have thought of putting in but didn’t will score. you cant own everyone
2. You will sell players and then they will score sometimes more than once
3. people who put no effort or thought in to their fantasy premier league team will be ahead of you in the short term
4. there will be amazing weeks and rubbish weeks
Overall though in time it will come right. Last year I was over a million in October after not putting Rooney in for consecutive hat tricks. Out of 40 people in my main mini league I was 23rd and people who were just Man U fans who had never played before were over 100 points ahead of me.
However I ended up winning by over 100 points and finished under 5,000 overall after the year before finishing just under 6,000 overall just by keeping faith in my system when it seemed totally unchallengeable
anyway hope this doesnt sound too serious for whats supposed to be a fun subject!
