Costa

At the moment it seems that we are free from the ususal ridiculous injury saga that we normally have as Mourinho has said he will start.  An additional boost is that he won’t be in the Spain squad for the International break so some much needed rest.  Has been sensational this season but the last 2 games (admittedly 1 against Arsenal) have seen a big drop off in the underlying stats as have the last 4 points total.  Is this a sign that his golden run has come to an end.? Good fixtures after the Liverpool game

Liverpool (A)
West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Newcastle (A)
Hull (H)

Aguero

Really been in fantastic form all season and away to QPR is a great way of potentially continuing it.  Not really creating chances for others this season but has the best shooting stats of any striker.  Good fixtures

QPR (A)
Swansea (H)
Southampton (A)
Sunderland (A)
Everton (H)
Leicester (A)

Sakho

Unbelieveable to think that a player from the French 2nd division can turn up to the premier league and score in 5 consecutive games.  Maybe big sam is the genius he continually tells us he is?  Sakho’s scoring is no fluke either as his shooting stats are excellent.  Looks to be fit after a shoulder injury and a good time to buy with Villa next at home

Aston Villa (H)
Everton (A)
Newcastle (H)
West Brom (A)
Swansea (H)
Sunderland (A)

Pelle

Time is running out for another player to join the premier league who has been sensational.  By that I mean after Leicester and Villa the fixtures get trickier.  Whether he can keep up the form after those 2 games remains to be seen.  Fantastic underlying shooting and creating chances stats.  Overall probably the best of any striker.  Hasn’t scored in 2 but inlucky in both

Leicester (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Man City (H)
Arsenal (A)
Man Utd (H)
Burnley (A)

Austin

Suddenly with 3 goals in his last 2 games it looks like the QPR striker may have started to adjust to the premier league.  This is mainly about some good fixtures ahead after the City game.  Only okish underlying stats and really a gamble for after the City game with Leicester and Burnley at home on the horizon

Man City (H)
Newcastle (A)
Leicester (H)
Swansea (A)
Burnley (H)
Everton (A)

Berahino

Scored in 4 consecutive games ironically before the blank against Leicester.  Underlying stats are only ok though and penalties have helped to supplement the scoring. 2 very hard fixtures after a good home game to Newcastle

Newcastle (H)
Chelsea (A)
Arsenal (H)
West Ham (H)
Hull (A)
Aston Villa (H)

Bony

4 goals and a 75% return rate in his last 4 games.  However with Arsenal and Man City next it’s perhaps a selection for the 2 excellent fixtures after those ones.  Although last year showed he can score against anyone.  A bit inconsistent and can score in streaks but there are very good underlying shooting and creating chances stats as a good base for further returns

Arsenal (H)
Man City (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
QPR (H)
West Ham (A)
Spurs (H)

Lukak

Was benched last week but after Everton drew a blank it’s hard to see that continuing.  Has struggled to bring in big hauls and sometimes score against the lower placed teams.  No real underlying stats and this is mainly about past glories and good home fixtures especially

Sunderland (A)
West Ham (H)
Spurs (A)
Hull (H)
Man City (A)
QPR (H)

RVP

With 2% ownership it seems the golden days are well and truly behind RVP.  1 goal in his last 4 games despite ok fixtures doesn’t help the situation that’s for sure.  However impossible to think the next 4 fixtures apart from Arsenal could be any better and he will be leading the line and the main target for any chances created.  Will have pens.Underlying stats do give hope but recent forn andat  £12.4m it’s a massive gamble even with these fixtures

Crystal Palace (H)
Arsenal (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (H)
Southampton (A)
Liverpool (H)

Welbeck

Being great value in a top 4 team can only get you so far.  1 goal and an assist in the last 5 games when your team has scored 7 in the last 3 isn’t exactly a recipe for confidence in your ability.  However there’s nothing wrong with his underlying shooting and creating chances stats it’s just that age old inability to convert which dogs him.

Swansea (A)
Man Utd (H)
West Brom (A)
Southampton (H)
Stoke (A)
Newcastle (H)
