Joseph Crilleys transfer planner and points projection tool

Joe’s transfer planner and points projection tools projects points for each player for each game.

Joe’s team run by the planner is currently on 1,101 points on 70k prior to the Wolves v Man City game in GW19.  You can follow that team including live transfers and use the planner plus more on our subscription Patreon site.

It picks Vardy followed by Kane and Dele Alli.  That assumes all 3 players start.

Stats comparison

Gametime

This is the most difficult considering the 5 players all started in GW19.  Salah and De Bruyne were subbed before the finish if that means anything.

Vardy seems the most at risk with the manager saying there’s no chance he will play all 4.  That means 1 of the 2 away games v West Ham next and then Newcastle he won’t play.  The West Ham game with the slightly shorter turnaround seems the most at risk.

Kane with Son suspended seems to lack a proper covering player.  De Bruyne could easily be rested although with Silva injured that leaves them short of both first choice number 8’s.

Difficult to assess Mane and Salah.  The game is a relatively difficult one.

Team defensive stats

Think carefully about your vice captain

In what could be a rotation filled gameweek think carefully about your captain and whether you want a banker to be your vice at the potential reduction of returns or whether you’re willing to risk the ultimate issue of both not playing

Summary

With all the main options starting in GW19 then anything is possible in GW20.  Vardy seems the most at risk given the managers words.  Salah and De Bruyne were subbed before the end of their GW19 games.

The bookies for anytime goalscorer have  for the main options.  Vardy £1.70, Kane £1.80, Salah £1.85, Mane £1.95 and De Bruyne £2.50.  Aguero is the shortest odds at £1.61

The FFGeek poll asking who are you captaining favours  Vardy at 35% with Salah, De Bruyne and Kane at the 17% to 13% range.  The other polls are closer.

Of the 1o FFGeek contributors there is a spread. 4 have gone for Mane.  2 for De Bruyne and 2 for Salah

On the stats side.

De Bruynes stats are very good especially his volume numbers. They are biased towards assists which means his points are somewhat out of his control. Sheffield have been excellent away from home but City are a unique proposition for them.

Kane’s stats are pretty awful to say the least. However he is Harry Kane and Norwich are a pretty terrible defensive team.

Vardy is fantastic and West Ham terrible but gametime remains a risk.

Salah’s and Mane’s stats are really good but they face  a good defence

Kane, Vardy and Salah with Milner off the pitch have penalty duties

The FFGeek view

I still haven’t decided on my transfers yet but I would probably go for Vardy if he was guaranteed to start.  In absence of that I will probably go for Mane.  If I could choose anyone it would probably be between Salah and Kane

Good luck whoever you choose.
