FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE DGW27 WILDCARD TIPS – OUR IMAGINARY WILDCARD
So firstly I personally wouldn’t use the 2nd wildcard if you’ve got it. I think there’s likely to be a big DGW to come still unless it becomes open season on conflicting with the dates of the European games and then anything could happen.
The imaginary wildcard team fits within my £101.5m budget. Only having 4 games in GW28 makes the player choice very restricting. It causes some risks though as there’s an absence of the big teams. There’s no Arsenal, Spurs and no Man Utd who have byes in GW28 and only 1 Chelsea player for the same reason. In this article there are no stats just some brief narrative on the selection below. DGW27 potential
So I’ve set up the team to get 5 DGW27 players and 9 players for GW28 if you transfer out Aguero for Lukaku
In goal Jakupovic is good value in the improving Hull defence and Grant gives you the potential DGW27 coverage.
The defence apart from Stones is focused on attacking defenders with 3 for the blank GW28. Alonso is player for the whole of the season
In midfield I’ve stuck with Mane home to Burnley in GW28. Sterling is the best value/returning/gametime secure midfielder for the DGW although Pep is always going to be difficult to predict. Siggy is a good option for the blank week on form and fixtures. I’ve gone for Snodgrass in the West Ham midfield for his value and set pieces. Morrison as a CAM is the makeweight.
Upfront Aguero is the captain for the DGW27. Ibrahimovic has Bournemouth next. Aguero would possibly go for Lukaku in GW28 due to Man City’s fixtures

As you can see it gives 9 players for the blank week of GW28 and 5 DGW27 players
