fantasy premier league double gameweeks and blanks – a quick update

Fantasy Premier League

Here’s a few words on the current situation regarding fantasy premier league double gameweeks and blanks to help you with your transfer decisions.  I did some in the context of the “ones to watch” article but I thought a seperate article would be worthwhile

fantasy premier league double gameweeks and blanks – a quick update

Just to recap on the current situation

Between GW26 and GW27 the 5th round of the FA Cup will be played

GW27 – Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle and Man City have no game

GW30 – Clashes with the FA Cup quarters so will probably see mass postponements

GW34 – Could be the gameweek which sees those postponments from GW30

GW35 – clashes with FA Cup semis so will see some postponments

GW37 – another week for postponed games

This is explained in more detail in my original post here which also covers the 2nd wildcard.  Depending on the make up of GW35 I will probably use the 2nd wildcard  before GW34.

However for this article I’m going to concentrate on GW30

So firstly here’s the FA Cup 5th round games from the BBC Website

facup..5thRoundFinal

If I could predict the outcome of football matches I would be doing this website from the South of France. However here’s the possible winners of the above FA Cup 5th round matches who will then have postponed games in GW30

Arsenal, WBA, Watford, Everton, West Ham, Tottenham, Man City, Man Utd.  The most unpredicatble fixture is the Chelsea v Man City one.

Here’s GW30 before postponements:

fpl..gw30fixtures

So that would mean if my game predictions are right then the remaining fixtures would be:

Bournemouth v Swansea

Stoke v Southampton a definite fixture as both are out of the FA Cup already

Liverpool v Chelsea

Leicester v Newcastle a definite fixture as both are out of the FA Cup already

However if Chelsea beat Man City then Norwich v Man City would not be postponed and would be a plum fixture

Also interesting if Bournemouth beat Everton in the FA Cup 5th round then the Everton Sunderland game would survive which is a good fixture

Thats it just a quick recap
