Again after much debate here’s the fantasy premier league fantasy football geek team for GW7. I’ve made the Rooney and Ramsey transfers. Here they are with some narrative debate journey I was on.

I transfered out Ramsey for Di Maria in and Rooney out and Welbeck in
Here’s the team as it is:
Essentially I wanted Aguero in my team but I had to pick between Di Maria and Aguero as even with sacrificing Terry and an 8 point hit I couldn’t afford it. I even started to seriously think about a 12 pointer but that started to feel ridiculous.
My essential choice was between Aguero and Chadli and Di Maria and Welbeck. It was a difiicult decision as Aguero and Chadli was my gut feel choice as I love Aguero and it gave me an alternative captain option to Costa whereas this leaves me as Costa or nothing. However the ownership issue swung it for me towards Di Maria and Welbeck.. With Di Maria 33% and rising I decided to take Di Maria and Welbeck. I did think about Dzeko but the gametime risk just made me stick with Welbeck. I do now have £2.1m in the bank and Terry in the team who I’m not sure represents good value which isn’t ideal but at some stage I’ll use the money to get Aguero in. I did think about transferring out Siggy to get the cash but with Newcastle , Stoke and Leicester next and a 42% ownership it was a bit too bold a move. At the moment I’m 49k which is an ok start and I’m happy to neutralise the 5 most popular players and rely on Pelle, Welbeck and the defence to get me up the table.
The defence was a tricky one in choosing the 3. Sunderland and Leicester seemed to have the opposition to be a natural choice. I then had to choose between Terry and Bertrand. In the end I went for Terry despite having Welbeck in my team. It was a close decision but Terry seemed the logical choice.
Captain was a no brainer. I normally go for a striker as captain so now it’s Costa all the way unfortunately.
