FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE GW28 – THE ALTERNATE FFGEEK TEAMS
THE BOOKIES TEAM
This is a team based on the anytime goal scoring odds of the bookies. It replaces the attacking player with the worst anytime goalscoring odds for the player with the best anytime goalscoring odds for the next game with no other factors taken into account. It does work within a basic team structure though and although I’m removing the 1 attacking player per premier league team. 2 transfers every 2 weeks except for injuries. . Captain is player with the best goal scoring odds
GW27 score 77 (average 50) Current overall rank 124k team value £99.7m
An improvement of rank in 50k although did use the triple captain chip to get there
Here’s the team for this week. 9 potential GW28 players
Rodriguez out who’s lost his place is out. The best anytime goal scoring odds for the funds available to replace him was Josh King of Bournemouth. 9 players lining up. Lukaku has the best goalscoring odds so he’s captain. Next was King although for security of place I gave it to Sihurdsson as I don’t trust Eddie Howes selection as far as I could throw him.
THE SHOTS ON TARGET TEAM
This is a team based on the Shots on Target underlying stat. This is widely thought to be the most accurate predictor of goals. The team transfer policy is to replace the attacking player with the worst Shots on Target stats for the player with the best Shots on Target stats with no other factors taken into account. I’ve tweaked the rules to allow more than 1 player from an attacking team. To me it seems the stat stands alone and not related to opposition like the bookies odds team. Shots on target are assessed on a per minute basis rather than an aggregate basis. The captain choice is the highest ranked pollster

A slight worsening in rank of 8k. Disappointing considering the triple captain was used

1 transfer. Ibrahimovic out who’s suspended for 2 PL games and replaced by the best shots on target option playing in GW28 which was Andre Gray of Burnley. Lukaku as the poll leader is captain
