Gameweek 28 didn’t get off to the best of starts on Saturday as all 6 of my players I had in action blanked. My Bournemouth triple up only managed 4 points between them in their game against Sheffield United and my Arsenal double clean sheet was wiped out by a Ramsdale error while Saka failed to return.
Watkins, Haaland and Foden all also blanked on the Sunday, however Son scored a massive 17 points, and this was followed by a 13 pointer from Cole Palmer in the Monday night game. My Bournemouth pair of Zabarnyi and Solanke made up for their earlier blank by both scoring a goal in their second game of the week against Luton.
I ended the week on 69(-4) points and this resulted in a green arrow up to 27k
I have my Free Hit chip active for gameweek 29. 9 of the starting 11 were easy picks for me when I first put the side together and I can’t see those positions changing. Flekken, Doughty, Porro, Son, Maddison, Bowen, Watkins, Toney and Morris were straight in.
I currently have Regulion in the third defender spot, however if he’s not fit, this will be Roerslev instead. I’m currently favouring Morgan Gibbs-White as my fourth midfielder, however there are a number of different players in consideration for this spot including Elanga, Kudus, Paqueta and Bailey. Son will be my captain.
