The schedule
The schedule ranks the teams by averaging their Goals against and their expected goals against. It is not adjusted for upcoming fixtures. From the free site understat
Player values and stats were as of Tuesday 22 February and do not include Wednesdays games
Fixture ease ranks the ease of the fixtures in the next 6 gameweeks
CS odds are the bookies odds for a clean sheet given a £1 bet
Pstpnd is the numbers of postponed games which could end up making a double gameweek for the team
xCS% is the % of games where the expected goals against has been less than 1.0
CSs is the number of clean sheets
D27 means double gameweek 27. FB30 means a guaranteed fixture in GW30

Player suggestions for GW27
Generally for transfer suggestions, as I said above, I’ve tried to balance a good entry point, defensive strength of the team and upcoming fixture easiness.
Use Joe’s Transfer Planner and Points Prediction Tool to maximise your Chips and FPL points over this period of Doubles and Blanks
Manchester City
Forget the 1 off against Spurs Man City are the best defensive team by a distance and Cancelo will be worth the lack of doubles, tricky fixtures and UCL related rotation in my mind. £5.8m (5.1 PPM)Laporte is the cheaper version and £5.4m Walker (4.4 PPM) still has 2 UCL games that he suspended for which should bring some short term security
Wolves
The best defensive team outside of the big 3 of Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea. Wolves have the advantage of a double in GW28 and a fixture in the likely big blank week of GW30.
Semedo is my pick although £5.0m Saiss (4.1 PPM) is also an option. There are slightly cheaper options as well but for me it’s with the additional small expense to go for either these 2.
GK Sa is also having a great season and a good pick
Burnley
Although their defensive record over the season isn’t great at all it’s hard to ignore 4 clean sheets in the last 6. The attraction is also a DGW27
GK Pope is the obvious choice and Mee in the defensive for his set piece strength. If you’re going Cheap £4.5m Roberts (4.9) seems to have the RB slot nailed
Southampton
I’m normally loath to recommend teams with mixed defensive stats but the next 3 fixtures as well as the entry point couldn’t be much better
Livramento’s attacking ability is probably my first choice but £4.4m Bednarek (PPM 3.5) probably offers more security and is a set piece threat. Livramento being injured and then coming in when Perraud was injured maybe means some slight doubt over his place.
The Fixture Ease Schedule
Here’s the next 6 fixtures as ranked by the ease of the attacking teams they face
GK goals saved over expected goals saved per 90 from Fbref
In essence this shows the form shot stoppers so far this season. It compares the per 90 goals saved vs expected goals saved so is a variation on the save% table I normally give. I think you’ll find it quite interesting.
