FPL TIPS GW7 – FFGEEK CONTRIBUTORS SHOW THEIR TEAMS FOR GW6 – PART 1
We’re continuing in the series where 10 or so FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories show their teams before the gameweek deadline. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may subsequently change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It also wont cover early transfers. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more. There will also be times when people don’t produce their teams for whatever reason.
ROB REID (THE FPL VET)
Rob finished with a rank of 22k last season 4,701 in 2015/16 and 7,810 in 2014/15.

Rob was away with a work conference prior to the Aguero drama. The first part was sent prior to the injury.
A bittersweet GW6! Always happy with a green arrow especially after a minus 4. It could have been so much better though as my transferred out players trolled me in glorious fashion. I mentioned my pain at selling Morata last week and it was way worse at 5pm last Saturday. Ramsey was my other sale and he dug the knife in further on Monday.
Being philosophical though, ultimately it only cost me 9 points as I would have captained Lukaku over Morata had I held him. It’s just that feeling of anguish when you see a nice differential that you have just sold hurt you by scoring big!
Ok on to GW7. It’s a 1 week punt with 1ft available and my Wildcard getting activated straight after. My pre-season plan was to WC in GW8 and I’m sticking by this as I’m not doing well enough to hold on until the next natural WC point at GW11. I’d targeted GW8 pre-season as there were some key changes in fixture difficulty here and I think it’s given us long enough to establish form.
So my FT this week will likely be to change cheapie midfielders based on fixtures. Leicester, Everton and West Ham all have nice options in the cheap range so I’m looking at a player from one of these teams for Brady. I’m going to leave it late this week, probably until Fri night or Sat am to get maximum info on team news. I’ll post my team on Twitter when I’ve decided. Otherwise here’s my team pre-transfer with Lukaku as captain.
After the Aguero injury he said
Lacazette in for a 1 week fixture punt then WC activated on Saturday. Brady starting over Atsu as fancy Burnley v the Everton defence

JOSEPH CRILLEY

A successful gameweek for me last time out as my team scored 84(-4) which saw my rank greatly improve from 1.2mil to 620k. A lot of this was due to my strikers who combined for an impressive 6 goals and 52 points.
After such a strong week, I was prepared to hold my transfer this week and give myself 2FTs to use after the international break. The team looked good for GW7 and I was hoping that the extra flexibility would give me an edge going into GW8.
Unfortunately, injuries to Aguero and Jones have made that impossible and a hit will be required. For my Jones replacement, I may be taking a punt on one of my differential picks Aaron Cresswell although the news on Jones is unclear so I’m undecided at the moment. As noted in my article, he’s posted some impressive recent stats and the next four fixtures look prime for points.
As for Aguero, the obvious person to bring in is Lukaku. The other options were Lacazette and Jesus, however it’s hard to overlook big Rom with a game against a disjointed Palace at Old Trafford. There’s a chance that I bring on the latter in GW8 as City’s fixtures look incredible.
Regarding captaincy, the armband has been on Kane all week but now that I have Lukaku, the decision is a bit trickier. Nonetheless I’ll probably stick with the Spurs man and his irresistible away form.

Sorry only an ultra short write up this week due to time. The team picks itself really with the fixtures for Mbemba and Suttner meaning they are well down the bench.
The transfer was Lukaku in for Augero which was the plan before his unfortunate accident. Captain is on Lukaku but this may change to Kane.

So my transfer this week was Willian out and Ramsey in, with Hazard returning I see Willian’s game time reduced, with Ramsey playing more advanced in the midfield I see him having some good returns. I wanted to bring in a Man City player but Pep’s rotation policy makes it difficult to bring a player in.
Obvious Captain choice for gameweek 7 is Lukaku. Good luck everyone.

Tough decisions this week. Jones first ruled out, but then travelled with the squad. RLC dead. Vardy might get limited time. If I want to be sure that I can field 11 players I felt I had to make some transfer. So I took a -4 hit and sold Alonso and Jones for Azpi and Monreal. Azpi is due a rise so I made the transfers friday.
