fantasy premier league GW33 wildcard – FFGeek teams wildcard activated

Fantasy Premier League, ffgeek teams

Here’s just a short fantasy premier league GW33 wildcard article to say that I’ve activated my wildcard on both the FFGeek teams

Firstly I won’t bore regular readers with my 2 team story if you’re new to the site.  It’s outlined in all it’s ridiculousness in my FFGeek teams article of today

Just to avoid the inevitable anti climax.  The transfers I’ve done are only to avoid price rises on players I may want not a genuine wildcard team.

To be honest I totally couldn’t be bothered to think about my wildcard tonight apart from the potential joy I would get out of finally getting rid of Ogbonna who did depart with a clean sheet today bless him.

However I checked FPL statistics which is the excellent price change site I use and it said a few players were at risk of going up so I thought I should at least get them in my team rather than have to pay more if I wanted them later.

Here’s the changes I’ve made to the 2 teams.  Remember this was the bare minimum changes just to avoid some prices rises.  Not anything like a first go which I’m going to try and do tomorrow all things being equal.

Free Hit lost team

So 4 transfers:

Mounie out Barnes in

Kenny out Chilwell in

Ogbonna out Lowton in

Aubameyang out Lukaku in

Barnes, Chilwell are 2 players I’m not sure I’ll get in but they are possible.  Lowton I definitely will and Lukaku is possible.  All the players who left I don’t have a problem of selling them and having to risk buying them back for more which is all I wanted to avoid tonight.

Here’s the list of players that I will lose money on if I sell them and for some reason decide to buy them back.  The price next to them is the difference between the selling price and the current price.

Ryan £0.1m, Van Dijk £0.1m, Otamendi £0.3m, Sterling £0.4m, Salah £0.8m and Firmino £0.2m.

The money in Firmino is why I sold Aubameyang instead of Firmino although I really can’t imagine I’m going to keep Firmino but rather than the force the decision now I’ll away slook to defer it if possible.

Here’s the team as it looks now.  My aim is to do more extensive surgery tomorrow:

Similar 4 transfers:

Wilson out Barnes in

Kenny out Chilwell in

Aurier out Lowton in

Aubameyang out Lukaku in

Here’s the list of players for this team that I will lose money on if I sell them and for some reason decide to buy them back.  The price next to them is the difference between the selling price and the current price.

Ryan £0.1m, Van Dijk £0.1m, Otamendi £0.4m, Sterling £0.3m, Salah £0.8m and Firmino £0.2m.

FFGeek team wildcard articles

As I said I may, ideally, make extensive changes tomorrow (Sunday) or I may do it on Monday as I’m out and about with the wife on Sunday so I don’t want to get halfway through the exercise and then have to go out so I’ll see how the day pans out.  I’m not sure I’ll do an article with every set of changes but I will at least put them on my twitter account so follow me on that if you want to be guaranteed to see every transfer in all it’s procrastination and angst.

A wildcard is a funny thing.  It’s very cathartic at first getting rid of the players you can’t stand seeing in your team but then by the end you’ve made so many adjustments and thought headaches that you’re just glad the gameweek has finally started so you can tinker anymore.

Anyway if you just did yours then hope it went well.  It certainly did for Chilwell and Smalling gamblers as well as Vardyers and those who went for Barnes.
