Fantasy Premier League, Player Rankings

Here’s our article where we are trying to establish attacking players with the most consistent returns and underlying stats. By that I mean players that return goals or assists in the highest % of games and players who produce underlying stats appropriate for their price at the highest % of games.

It will certainly give you an interesting perspective on which Arsenal and Man Utd players to pick for your FPL team

Introduction

Here’s our article where we are trying to establish attacking players with the most consistent returns and underlying stats.

By that I mean players that return goals or assists in the highest % of games and players who produce underlying stats appropriate for their price at the highest % of games.

It’s not about their total returns or underlying stats but how consistently they produce them

We’ve put these together in a spreadsheet and ranked the players by the average of the 4 numbers.  Not surprisingly Haaland comes out on top. We discuss each of the players individually. It will certainly give you an interesting perspective on your Arsenal and Man Utd attacking player choices.

I did this schedule because I want to know who are the players that will produce consistent returns when I pick them rather than players who blow very hot and very cold.

Key

Consistentcy is basically defined as the % of times you return a goal or assist in a match or produce underlying stats acceptable for the price

Position, Price PPM as per the FPL site

Act Sn % and  Act L10 % – These are the % of games that the player produces a goal or assist.  Includes sub appearances. Over the season and last 10 games played

Undlyg Sn % and Undlyg L10 % – This is the % of games that the player produces underlying stats that are appropriate for the price.  Over the season and last 10 games played.  Doesn’t include sub apps

Numbers are by the fantastic free site Understat
