Important note before going further
As I did for the defender player rankings I’ve used last years stats to rank the players and provide PPMs but updated them depending on events that happened in GW1. I’ve added latest anytime goal scorer and fixture ease stats. It will be 6 gameweeks before I move to totally 20/21 stats.
I’ve already done the defender rankings and midfield player rankings
Player values are as of Thursday the 17th
The schedule ranked by forwards underlying stats over the season 19/20
Notes and methodolgy are below.
Here is the link to the google spreadsheet. You can go to file>make a copy and then sort it how you like.
Ignore the numbering. Players have been removed due to injury, gametime risk or no longer in the league.
New players to the league
Here I’ve used their previous clubs stats but not tried to turn those into premier league stats.
It will be 6 gameweeks before I move to 20/21 stats
Players to think about transferring in for GW2
The 2 players who have underlying stats, good fixtures, a good entry point and represent value for money this week are Vardy home to Burnley and Calvert Lewin home to WBA
Some player comments
Danny Ings
His underlying stats are pretty ordinary. Massive over performance of them last season which he has never done before
Che Adams
Good stats and played last few games just held back by average minutes over the season.
Harry Kane
A false position as he’s one of the few players who consistently over performs his underlying stats
A fixture ease schedule for attacking players
