Introduction
This is part 4 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It won’t cover transfers in real time either. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more. The teams are shown as their “final-ish” teams so they could change. Where they have twitter accounts I have shown this and they may update them there or on our Slack Channel which is part of our subscription Patreon site but this is not guaranteed

Gameweek 37
GW37 was a good one for me but it was a case of too little too late to save my season. Phillips and the Everton trio did well for me. I can’t beat myself up too much for leaving Jorginho and Rudiger on the bench when they finally came good. This week leaves me an unattainable 32 points off achieving my goal of 10k.
Gameweek 38
The final gameweek of the season and I figure we’ll see many hits and some Hail Mary differential and obscure captain calls to try and catch mini league leaders. I recall losing a seemingly healthy mini league lead to Wijnaldum’s unbelievable masterclass for relegated Newcastle against second-place-chasing Spurs. I hope it doesn’t go that badly for you! There may be some unexpected rotation and results so it could be a tough week to call. A healthy bench might be useful.
This week I’m seeing good prospects for Liverpool, Leeds and possibly West Ham assets. I had 2 free transfers going into GW38. I had planned to wait as late as possible on Sunday afternoon for any team leaks before making my transfers but instead went as follows for fear of being priced out (and overthinking):
- Fernandes (I don’t think he’ll get more than 20 minutes this week) to Mane (Liverpool will see this as a cup final so Mane will hopefully play an important role against a sub-par Palace)
- Digne (tough fixture against City) to Dallas (I think Leeds could score big this week)
I’ll probably go Salah for captain and vice on Dallas or Mane.
I’ll very likely take a break from FPL next season so it may be that we next meet in the season thereafter. I wish all the very best for the final gameweek and for next season to all you budding FPL managers and to my FFGeek co-contributors!
Transfer summary; Bruno Fernandes out and Mane in. Digne out and Dallas in
Here’s the team with transfers made
Ben Wooton
Ben’s last 4 seasons overall rank were 5k, 61k, 26k and 31k.

Thinking hard about my moves.
Currently plan to move Calvert Lewin (DCL) out for Bamford and not take a hit with hope everyone does and I benefit.
BUT I have concerns over Bruno Fernandes and Jota, Coleman is deffo out.
I am holding on in case I see a team leak but whatever I will have Salah captain with Alexander Arnold as vice
If I did see confirmation of Bruno 100 % out then I might consider a -4. I would maybe look at Kane, Willock for DCL Bruno. At the moment though Bruno could end up as a differential if playing, so will just try to wait until last minute as ole often surprises.
I have a feeling there will be some shock results this weekend. I am even happy to keep Digne and play him in defensive 3
transfer summary: likely Calvert Lewin out and Bamford in
Here’s the team prior to any changes
Avishek Majumdar
Avishek’s last 3 seasons are 13k, 45k and 64k
GW37 points: 55 (FPL average 43) Total points: 2,392, Overall Rank: 29k, green arrow 4k, Team Value: £105.1m

So I don’t know if I’m going to take a hit or not, but it I don’t my FT will be Bruno Fernandes to Mane.
If I do take a hit, there are a few different options I’m debating:
Bruno Calvert Lewin (DCL) to Mane Bamford (-4)
Bruno DCL to Kane Torres (-4)
Bruno Digne to Mane Cresswell (-4)
I will wait for some early team news before confirming any of these moves but my most likely transfer as you can see is Bruno to Mane.
Captain will be on Salah.
Cheers! Hope you all finish the season with a green arrow!
transfer summary: Fernandes out and Mane in plus maybe 1 other transfer as outlined above
Here is the lineup before transfers.
