Introduction

Firstly I should state that as I write this there are some Official FPL prices for Fulham but not Bournemouth or Nottingham Forest

At the end of the article I’ve put the fixture ease schedules so you can see each teams fixtures for attacking and defensive players.

I will therefore use the LiveFPL prices where needed and then come back and add to the article when the prices are released by the Official FPL site

Fulham

Note FPL have revealed prices for Fulham

Basic Stats

Goals for 1st with 106

Goals against 3rd with 43

Fixture ease 17th ranked for attacking players

19th ranked for defensive players

General thoughts

Given the fixtures then I can’t see any Fulham player making my FPL  team.  The attack, though impressive in the Championship, is reliant on PL flop Mitrovic and has lost a very creative player in Carvalho.

Harrison Reed could be a £4.5m starting midfielder.  However the signing of CDM  Joao Palhinha may scupper his place in the team although he himself could be £4.5m.  Neither are priced by LiveFPL or in the Official FPL price leak.

Mitrovic

Priced at £6.5m is the key attacking player for Fulham.  To even consider him I would need a good fixture run which he definitely doesn’t have.  Last season he started 44 games for 43 goals and 7 assists at a goal or assist every 76 minutes.  Those stats are incredible.

The issue though is that in the PL in 20/21 he started 13 games plus 14 as sub for 3 goals and 3 assists for a goal or assist every 231 minutes.  Those stats are beyond awful and for that I reason I wouldn’t trust him especially with the tough fixtures

Summary

No one for me with the bad fixtures.  Mitrovic if you’re desperate and can ignore his 20/21 PL form and fixtures.

I’ll keep a pre-season eye out for Reed or Palhinha if they are £4.5m Mids for your FPL bench.

Bournemouth

Basic stats

Goals for 2nd with 74

Goals against 1st with 39

Fixture ease 18th ranked for attacking players

13th ranked for defensive players

General thoughts

Again given that 2 key players in Solanke and Billing were flops in the PL and their difficult fixtures to start I can’t see any Bournemouth players making it into my GW1 FPL team.

They were the best defensive team in the Championship in goals conceded but again I can’t really see anyone in my team given the history of promoted defences.

There remains the possibility of a starting £4.5m midfielder on LiveFPL’s price predictions in Cook and Lerma.  New signing Rothwell could confuse the position though.

Fredericks

New signing Fredericks at RB would be my choice if I was desperate for representation assuming he’s £4.5m as per LiveFPL and he is nailed in pre-season.

Solanke

Forward Solanke is predicted at £6.0m by LiveFPL and had an OK season with 29 goals and 7 assists for a goal or assist every 113 mins.  His 19/20 PL form of 17 starts plus 15 as sub for 3 goals and 1 assist at a goal or assist every 410 minutes which is woeful

 Billing

A similar story as above for Billing.  Midfielder Billing is predicted at £6.0m by LiveFPL and had an OK season with 10 goals and 10 assists for a goal or assist every 165 mins.  His 19/20 PL form of 29 starts plus 5 as sub for 1 goals and 1 assist at a goal or assist every 1,267 minutes is woeful even if he did play in a far more defensive position.

Summary

I just can’t see Bournemouth as a viable defensive option and the attack has difficult fixtures to start with and is based on 2 players who have shown to be woeful previously in the Premier League.  An avoid for me.

A monitor for gametime security on Cook and Lerma for £4.5m mids for our FPL bench

Nottingham Forest

Basic stats

Goals for 3rd with 73

Goals against 2nd with 40

Fixture ease 12th ranked for attacking players

11th ranked for defensive players

General thoughts

Defensively again I’d want alot better fixtures if I was to gamble on a promoted clubs defenders so it’s a no for me.  RB Djed Spence is of interest at £5.0m as per LiveFPL if he goes to Spurs and is nailed which is a big ask.

GK Dean Henderson if he’s £4.5m would be my only consideration and that’s for save points rather than clean sheets.

The forwards fixtures again are ok and there are 2 key players.  New signing Taiwo Awoniyi is predicted at £6.0m and I have already been negative on him in my new signing article

Brennan Johnson is the other option and LiveFPL have predicted £6.0m as a forward.

On LiveFPL prices I can’t see a starting £4.5m midfielder.

Awoniyi

See my seperate article.  But a no for me

Johnson

Predicted as a  £6.0m forward by LiveFPL and he had an OK season with 47 starts plus 2 as sub for 18 goals and 10 assists for a goal or assist every 150 mins.

The fixtures are ok and for me I’d want them to be better than that for him to be in my FPL team

Summary

Dean Henderson as a GK I guess could be an option if £4.5m but with Sanchez of Brighton and Raya of Brentford at that confirmed price it’s a big ask to switch to him.

I personally would like better fixtures if I was going to gamble on either Awoniyi or Johnson

No £4.5m mid options on LiveFPL prices
