Introduction

It’s worth noting that the teams shown may not necessarily end up being the final teams or the transfers may have been made in the days prior to the posting . It’s an informal situation to give you an idea of trends. However the FFGeek team and the Contributor tracker team mentioned above on the FFGeek Patreon site all make transfers as articles are posted. So you’re always up to date and live

Full swing into Double Game Weeks and COVID is still in the air. The havoc continues.

The difference with these DGWs and the typical GW30s ones every year, is that planning around them is pointless. I am completely ignoring all spreadsheets and whatever people are guessing as it is all fairly useless and even confusing. For me, I will wait to the deadline each week and play what is in front of me. No need to spend one second more planning based on probabilities and guesses. Once I know a double or a blank is in the actual game I will plan around it. Spreadsheets that constantly change and are predictions off probabilities I find adds noise.

As of now we know there are doubles this week. In the actual game. As it stands my captain will be on Son and Vice on Kane. I usually spread that risk but because Spurs double I think it is safe and they are my two best players. If I transfer in Ronaldo I will change the Vice to him.

My transfer options currently are threefold:

  1. Hit Antonio and Bowen to Ronaldo and Kovacic. I have exact money for this so I am just going to assume it is not an option as the deadline is a week away.
  2. Swap Antonio to Dennis
  3. Swap Livramento to Emerson.

Right now I would pick option 1 then option 3. I like the thought of Dennis but Im not 100% sure why he came off at 45 min. He is also a doubt for the FA Cup this weekend. I also see Watford new manager bounce has been fading so a double up, having King already, is less appealing to me than a few weeks ago. Id provides sell one right after if I did this.

It is worth mentioning that I think Leeds looked much better last game. Which is why I don’t mind selling the West Ham players. West Ham have no games in hand now too. The trend seems to be get in as many doubles as you can each week so any move selling them likely helps in a future game week too.

Having Ronaldo Kane and Son would cover all captains and EO. Ronaldo or Kane to Salah in a few weeks is an easier switch then too rather than needing multiple transfers.

The thing I don’t love about Emerson is three players on one team. I am trying to avoid it at all costs. Ideally I figure out how to get Ronaldo in.

Captain Son
Vice Kane

Good Luck!

Avishek Majumdar

Avishek’s last 4 seasons ORs were 32k 13k, 45k and 64k

GW21 Points: 46 -8 (FPL average 34) Total points: 1,304, Overall Rank: 56k, red arrow: 5k  Team Value: £104.1m

Here’s my draft Free Hit. I’ve gone reasonably strong all over to try and cover postponements and player Covid withdrawls after the deadline. The only certain bench as I write this are Foster and Sissoko. Dennis is a watch depending on the potential injury
