Introduction
This is part 4 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It won’t cover transfers in real time either. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more. The teams are shown as their “final-ish” teams so they could change. Where they have twitter accounts I have shown this and they may update them there or on our Slack Channel which is part of our subscription Patreon site but this is not guaranteed

I will be bench boosting this week but will activate it closer towards the deadline in case anything unexpected comes up.
Similarly, I will wait until after all the press conferences to make my planned transfer of Ings to Calvert-Lewin. I have considered a hit to replace a single game player with a doubler but I would be removing a GW29 player and I’m not too keen on that.
Best of luck to you all!
transfer summary: Likely to be Ings out and Calvert Lewin in and activating the Bench Boost Chip

FPL GW26 – Wildcard GW25, BB GW26, FH GW29?
The first of the few consecutive double gameweeks is gone, and it was a pretty frantic start to it, particularly for those on a wildcard like me, with the awaited double gameweek announcements not coming until after the deadline had passed. This meant having to gamble on what games would go where. In my case, I decided to go big on what we had confirmed and directly in front of us which was GW25, my wildcard featured 3 Leeds (you can guess which three ) and 2 Southampton players. It was mixed result on the doublers.
All in all, I managed 84 points with the wildcard team which is not bad, just with a sour feeling on now facing GW26 with only 10 players doubling. I am of course not forced to use the bench boost this week, but I really struggle to see a better opportunity later on, and also I think it is good to get it out of the way and focus on the main 11.
As probably everyone else, I wasn’t impressed one bit by Southampton, so I think they are the natural moves to strengthen my bench boost team, since I much prefer to keep the Leeds lot. So Ings to Kane already done and McCarthy to Johnstone almost a given (-4), meaning my bench will be Johnstone (double) + 3*Leeds home to Aston Villa. I could then take further hits to remove one or more of the Leeds players for doublers, but will it pay off? I am not sure of the answer, which probably means don’t do it, but at a minimum I will consider it. Particularly Bamford to Calvert is tempting. Have got £3m in the bank to support any move.
Not overthinking captaincy this time, will go with Kane, with Fernandes as vice.
Bring it on, let’s see those 3 digit scores all round.
Good luck everyone
Transfer summary: Ings to Kane completed. Likely McCarthy to Johnstone
Here’s the team assuming the 2nd transfer is made. Likely to Bench Boost
