I went into a lot of detail in my early FFGeek team thoughts article so I won’t here.

A week with a 1k green arrow and an OR improvement to 71k OR.

4 returning players, which is my minimum, although no double figure point hauls isn’t good. However there were only 6 in the whole gameweek. A gameweek rank of 1,994k outside my target of 1 million.

However has to be counted as a success  given that I was expecting a big red arrow.

Transfers

1 free transfer and £0.7m in the bank

If you read my early FFGeek team thoughts article you’ll know that the although there were a number of transfer possibilities I was considering I ruled them out apart from the potential one of Wan Bissaka out for Chilwell.  In the end I decided not to do it to keep the flexibility for next week and if I was minded to change my mind a Wan Bissaka price drop ruled it out anyway and I was £0.1m short.

So I’m rolling over the free transfer

Lineup issues

Although Rashford appears to be a major doubt at best.  I personally can’t believe after the Lingard injury fiasco v Liverpool that Rashford will start or even come on but just in case I’ve put him in the lineup.

That doubt meant that the decision of Ben Mee over Hojbjerg is a real one.  The bookies odds are Hojbjerg to score at £3.30 v Fulham vs a Ben Mee clean sheet at Newcastle at £3.50.  I usually go with the bookies odds as I’ve been burnt before into thinking I know more than the multi million pound industry.  However sometimes I just can’t help being a rule breaker so I’m throwing caution to the wind and putting Mee in instead.

Wan Bissaka appears to be definitely out so he’s last on the bench.

Captain thoughts 

I’ve done a long captain analysis article focusing on Salah, Aubameyang and Aguero.  In the end the gametime risk associated with Aguero was too much to take so I’ve gone for Salah.  If someone told me Aguero would definitely start, and I kind of think he will given that Jesus is definitely out but back soon, then I would go for him. I don’t wanted to be Pepped though so I’m going for Salah.
