My worst gameweek of the season if you use gameweek rank as the metric to judge that. It was 5.8 million with my next lowest some distance away at was 4.7m.
30 points and a 57k drop in rank to 128k. 2 returning players below my minimum of 4. One of those was one of the captain favourites in Aguero so that was probably a negative. A gameweek rank of 5.8 million against a target way in the distance of 1 million and a 57k red arrow to 128k.
Transfers
2 free transfers and £0.7m in the bank. I’ve got all my chips in place and I’m working towards a blanks and doubles strategy of:
Free transfers to blank GW31, Free Hit in double GW32, free transfer to blank GW33, Wildcard GW34 and Bench Boost in double GW35. At the moment I have 6 players guaranteed fixtures in GW31 with free 4 transfers before then.
My first transfer this week is an easy one.
Alexander Arnold in for Kolasinac. I mentioned this in my early team article.
The 2nd one I haven’t mentioned and I’m going to do Pogba in for Son which maybe a surprise to many.
If I hadn’t had such a bad gameweek maybe I’d be braver but covering a potential massive negative rank movement of a highly owned captain favourite seems worth sacrificing 1 player in the blank GW31.
So the transfers are:
Alexander Arnold in for Kolasinac and Pogba in for Son HM.
