Introduction

This is part 4 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It won’t cover transfers in real time either. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more.  The teams are shown as their “final-ish” teams so they could change.  Where they have twitter accounts I have shown this and they may update them there or on our Slack Channel which is part of our subscription Patreon site but this is not guaranteed

The plan was to save the transfer this week. However, the way things have developed, I think I need to ditch Bale earlier than intended in order to field a full eleven. With my three City assets highly likely to be rested, I can’t afford another non-starter which is what Bale would inevitably be.

So Bale has become Jota who, whilst himself being a rotation risk, represents excellent value and has form on his side.

Best of luck to you all.

Sergio Torija

Sergio’s last 4 seasons were 2k, 596k, 17k and 21k

GW30 Points:  64   (FPL average 46) Total points: 1,815, Overall Rank: 549k, green arrow:  72k Team Value: £104.1m

Sergio has used his Triple Captain Chip, Wildcard and his Bench Boost Chip

I had another small green arrow last week with 62 points, mainly from captain Kane and Lingard. Unfortunately I left Alexander Arnold’s 12 points in the bench, so it could have been much better. Another reminder to not trust Man City assets for the rest of the season I thought.

But then I get in 2011 mood, in a week without a clear captain in my squad, with lots of money in the bank and not much to play for, and end up with Aguero. Yes, I’ve done it, more of a nostalgic hopeful move than anything rational. Otherwise my move was looking like Dallas to Rudiger, which might be more sensible but certainly hasn’t got the potential for a big boost. I have a second transfer that I will be saving for next week when I have better plans.

Have to go with it now, captain Aguero it is. Vice on Kane.

Good luck everyone

Transfer summary: Watkins out Aguero in
