Introduction
Here’s a few very early drafts to give you some ideas for your FPL teams. They will change prior to the GW1 deadline of August 5 although there will be updated versions before then.
Alon Shamir
Alon’s last 5 seasons OR’s are 11k, 44k, 1k, 123k, 4k and 2k

After the Community Shield and Saturday’s friendly matches I feel like the lineups are more certain. So my draft is getting close to being complete.
I’ve made a few changes. The main ones:
I’m less into that 7-8m City mid since it looks like there will be a lot of rotation, even for Mahrez whom I previously thought should be pretty nailed on.
I like that Perisic got his first start and expect him to start GW1 as well.
I reluctantly downgraded Martinelli to Bailey, in order to accommodate Perisic.
Although he didn’t provide any returns, it looks like Haaland will be starting GW1 and the fixtures are too good for me to pass on.
I’m still very interested in Kulusevski and Martinelli. But not sure if and how they get in my squad.
Here’s the team as it stands
Yaniv Salomon
Yaniv’s last 5 seasons overall ranks were 37k, 96k, 3k, 4k and 8k
Follow Yaniv on twitter here
I’m getting closer to a final draft
5 top defenders -best ones in their teams plus Arsenal triple up (plays like a candidate)
2 decent playing Mids on the bench
The changes are as follows:
£5.0m Def Trippier out for £5.5m Perisic after yesterdays attacking display in the friendly v Roma
£6.5m Mid Rashford out for £6.0m Martinelli. Partly nervousness over Rashford due to Eriksen mainly. Partly Martinelli’s great preseason form
£5.0m Dewsbury-Hall for £4.5m Andreas – to save cash for a nailed £4.5m Mid
Here’s the team
Kris O
Kris’s last 8 seasons ORs were 17k, 19k, 39k, 44k, 46k, 23k, 12k and 19k
You can see the Kris’s article on the Wide Forward Tier of FFGeek Patreon site with loads of other content mentioned above for just £3 PCM. That includes following Kris’s Team and 5 others with live notified transfers and it’s final lineup each gameweek.
Scott Taylor
Scott’s last 5 seasons ORs were 55k, 12k, 15k, 1k and 12k
Changes since the last draft
Ramsdale out Raya in – just to save cash and to allow 3 outfield Arsenal players
Dalot out for Alexander Arnold – the Community Shield showed how dangerous he can be
Zinchenko out for Doherty – just not sure on Zinchenko’s gametime plus Doherty’s impressive performance v Roma in the friendly yesterday
Mahrez out Neto in. Partly to fund Alexander-Arnold and the Community Shield showed the rotation and early substitution risk
Diaz out for Saka – I needed to take Diaz out after bring in Alexander-Arnold due to the 3 player per club rule and Saka’s impressive performance v Sevilla plus probable penalty duties helped his selection
Here’s the team
